Membership Benefits and Fees

HAPS Alliance offers two classes of membership

Principal Member

$25,000 / per year

  • Eligible to be elected to Executive Board*
  • Voting rights for Alliance documents (Executive Board members)
  • May chair working groups and committees
  • May propose new work items
  • May participate and vote in working groups and committees
  • Attend virtual and face-to-face events
  • Access to documents in process
  • Access to published documents
* Additional $10,000 annual Director Fee if elected to the Executive Board

General Member

$10,000 / per year

  • May participate and vote in working groups
  • May attend committee meetings as an observer, where applicable
  • Attend virtual and face-to-face events
  • Access to documents in process
  • Access to published documents

Steps to Join

Join the HAPS Alliance in just three steps!

    1. Review the HAPS Alliance Bylaws, IPR Policy and Membership Agreement and submit the Membership Application. Any questions can be directed to [email protected], who can provide answers or connect you with a resource within the HAPS Alliance as needed.

      Your application will be reviewed by the HAPS Alliance membership team for completeness within three business days. If your application is complete, it will be sent to the Executive Board for approval.  The approval period is one week.  If there are any questions or further review required, you will be notified and kept informed of the status.

    2. Execute the Membership Agreement
      Once your application is approved, you will receive a Membership Agreement to be executed; the individual executing the Membership Agreement on behalf of the applicant Company warrants that he or she has all requisite signing authority for and on behalf of the entity seeking entry.

      Once the executed Membership Agreement is received, the HAPS Alliance team will send you welcome materials and an invoice for your annual membership fee.
    3. Pay applicable initial Membership Fee associated with the Member level selected.
      Membership privileges will commence upon acceptance of the Agreement by the HAPS Alliance Executive Board, which shall occur after the receipt of the initial Membership Fee associated with the Member level selected. The HAPS Alliance team will execute the Membership Agreement and send you a fully executed copy.
